Nothing quite goes together as well as fresh salad and curry tuna. As appalling as that may sound to some of you, I promise it’s amazing and actually the opposite of appalling.

You know what is – however – extremely appalling? Driving three hours in this mess: complete with rain, wind and lots of tractor trailers. I just so happen to have an irrational fear of tractor trailers and as much as I’m embarrassed and/or should not be admitting this – I will gladly gun it past a tractor trailer I get close to with speeds that I’d rather not mention, while blasting the few screamo songs on my iPod. Or Diddy.
But no doubt it’s all worth it when I finally reach my destination…and a toilet. I’ll be the first to admit that I guzzled a super sugary, super neon green energy drink while dodging tractor trailers. Woops.

Before I ran out to the bars, Kait and I had our fair share of nail polish, Cosmo and an extra large dose of “Say Yes to the Dress” – which makes me already stress out about picking out a dress (and I’m single!) I’m sorry, but some brides on there seriously need to pick that bitch wedgie out of their booties. Just my opinion. Kait made sure to paint my nails a much prettier shade than they were before – I wouldn’t even call it a shade, actually, more of a mess-of-a-pattern of au naturale nail and blue chipped polish. Thuper cute. I also fixed myself a cup of yogurt, berries and sunflower seed butter. SO glad that Kait is into sunflower seed butter…this is why she is my best.

Ahhh I love almost all salads, but the other day my friend and I made this DELICIOUS one with pomegranate seeds, arugula, and parmigiano reggiano…simple but DELICIOUS.

fav salad is def the chicken apple salad at panera bread, sans gorgonzola cheese. its sooo tasty!
and i just got my nails done like… 10 minutes ago! I got the color “Flirt”, which is like a reddish-pink. I never really get anything but pinkish colors, or a French manicure if I feel like spending the extra money. however…if I was rich Id get French Manicures all the time

Looks like a fun time with friends! My favorite colors are darker colors, but I always do pinks and oranges in the summer. I just had a manicure and it was fabulous! Sometimes you need to treat yourself to things like that

I never like painting my nails, it’s a pet peeve for me! I have short, fat fingers, and I always feel stupid when I wear nail polish.. so I never do. My friends think I’m crazy! I looove painting my toes though. I normally stick to reds/pinks or a french, but occasionally I’ll shake things up with a deep purple

I’ve fallen absolutely in lovvvve with sunflower seed butter recently…toobad my bestie is allergic to peanuts/nutsand seeds!:( Glad you got to see your bestie though, it sounds like a great trip (regardless of crappy weatherand tractortrailors!) lol <– I don'tknow why my spacekey it not working properly!
